What makes ours a quality jerky?
The Sausage Shoppe's homemade jerky uses 95% lean meat and is protein dense. We
do not add fillers to our all-natural ingredients. The jerky is low in fat,
sodium and cholesterol. We do not use liquid flavorings, chemicals,
preservatives or MSG. Our jerky is hickory-smoked.
What is restructuring?
Restructuring is the process of taking the leanest cuts of beef and pork,
grinding them together, and forming them into a jerky strip. This allows the
jerky to be a consistently lean product, with a tender bite and delicious
flavor.
Protein-Dense Smokies
Our smokies have all-natural ingredients and natural casings. These all-meat
snack sticks are ready-to-eat meals on the go! They also make great gifts.
