8 slices bread
3 cups milk
1 teaspoon salt
2 cups shredded mild cheddar cheese
1 pound Sausage Shoppe bulk pork sausage, cooked and crumbled
¼ pound Sausage Shoppe hickory smoked bacon, cooked and crumbled
½ large sweet Spanish onion, chopped
Other Optional Ingredients: cubed Sausage Shoppe Sheffler ham, pepperoni, green peppers and mushrooms. Amounts of optional ingredients should be in line with your family's tastes.
Butter both sides of 8 pieces of bread, then cube. Add the bread to a mixture of all the other ingredients. Pour into a greased 9" x 13" pan. Set in the refrigerator overnight. Bake at 325º for one hour the next morning.
